昨日は、ドラマすいかのイベントでした。

誰かすいかのイベントをやってくれないかなと思っていて
あ、自分でやればいいのか、と思い立ち、
昨年、15周年を記念して、すいかのイベントをやってみたのが始まり。
今年は、脚本家の木皿泉さんに
来ていただくことができ
夢のような楽しい一日でした。
木皿さんのお話で一番印象に残ったのが、
「ある人物に対して
めちゃくちゃ怒っている時に
三十三間堂にいったら
水子供養の場所でずっと泣いてる女の人がいて
この人は長い間自分を許していないんだなあと思ったら
なぜか今自分が怒っている相手を許そう、という気持ちになった」
というエピソード。
世の中はつながっていて
自分が怒っている相手を許すことで、
目の前の誰かが自分自身をゆるすことになると感じたそう。
ドラマすいかの中で
高校生の男の子が、女の子を刃物で刺そうとして
ともさかりえさん演じる 
エロ漫画家の亀山絆ちゃんが
その男の子を止めようとするシーンがあります。
「人は刺すもんじゃない。
ホントは抱きしめたいんでしょう。
だったら抱きしめんの。」
というセリフがあります。
絆ちゃんはその後のシーンで
浅丘ルリ子さん演じる教授に
不器用で人と繋がりたいのにその方法が分からなくて
その子が自分みたいに思えてきて
思わず抱きしめていた、と話します。
2003年放送当時は、
仕事柄、加害と被害の文脈で
被害の方にスポットを当て
加害者を断罪することが
多かった私は
絆ちゃんの気持ちに共感できながったけれど
16年経った今、少しずつ理解できるようになってきました。
加害をした人を切り捨てることなく
自分の一部として感じて
その人ともつながっていくことが
世界の平和を作る一歩なんだなあと最近よく思います。
それから、ドラマの続編を望む声を受け
木皿さんから、
「すいかの続編のような小説を書くことにした」
と重大発表がありました。
楽しみすぎます！
木皿さん、ありがとうございます！！
イベントでは、木皿さんのお話の後に、
ドラマのセリフをちりばめたカルタ大会をしました。



めちゃくちゃかわいい絵札のイラストを描いてくださったのは
昨年もすいかイベントに参加してくださり、実行委員としても力を貸してくださった亀石みゆき(@mkameishi)さん。



そして読み札を読むのは木皿さんご本人。
こんなに贅沢で熱量の高いカルタ大会ってあるんだろうか、
というくらいの盛り上がりでした。
100人がそのセリフを熟知していて
そのセリフの余韻に浸りながら
絵札を取っていく様は、
木皿さんにとっては
「気持ち悪い」ほどだったそうです(笑)。
グループで一番読み札を多く取った人には
サイン入りスリッパや、サイン入りDVDなど豪華賞品が
渡されました。
最後に木皿さんから
「もう帰ってちょうだい」の
締めの一言をいただき終了。
夕方から開催のハピネス三茶ロケ地ツアーと懇親会にも
木皿さんはご参加下さいました。



木皿さんと聖地であるハピネス三茶のロケ地を巡ることができたのは
とても貴重な経験でした。

10話のロケ地でもある
ポトスではマスター が木皿さんに会えたことをとても喜んでくださいました。


そして木皿さんがポトスのマスターが用意していた色紙にサイン。
「やっと会えました。絶望と希望の人に」
という片桐はいりさん演じる刑事のセリフと
「やっとポトスにこれました」のコメントが添えられていました。

実は私は、2007年に
すいかのカルタを作って、親友Rとハピネス三茶のロケ地を巡った後
ポトスでカルタをしたことがあります。
2014年に結婚式をすることになり
親友Rが
「木皿さんに手紙を書いたら
木皿さんから
『誰よりも幸せになってよし』という言葉をもらいました」と
スピーチした時には
思いもよらない祝辞に興奮し、結婚してよかったと思いました(笑)。
親友Rは、
「すいかのカルタを作るくらい、ドラマすいかが大好きな友人が結婚するので、何か一言ください」と、出版社経由で木皿さんに手紙を書いてくれたそうです。
木皿さんは
ファンレターにはほとんど返事を書かないけれど
Rさんの手紙から友情を感じて
言葉を書いてくれたとのことです。
「私もをすいかのカルタを作ってみたいので、カルタを送ってもらえませんか」
という木皿さんのお手紙に
答える形で木皿さんとのやりとりが始まりました。
そのご縁で、2018年にすいか15周年記念イベントを開催し
木皿さんのご自宅でビデオメッセージを撮影させて
いただくことになりました。
あの時カルタを作って本当に良かったなあと
しみじみ思います。


ポトスでの懇親会にキャンセル待ちをされていた方を中心に
近くの会場でも懇親会が開かれました。
木皿さんはこちらにも立ち寄ってくださいました。

ドラマすいかが好きすぎて、
イベントを企画したら
すいか好きの人たちとつながり
お手伝いしてくれる仲間ができ、
木皿さんにもお会いしてお話する機会に恵まれました。
またイベントに参加してくださったみなさんから
開催してくれてありがとう、と
感謝までされて
楽しいことだらけです。
木皿さんは好きな仕事しかしないと決めて仕事を続けているそうです。
私も楽しいことをやって人生を生きていきたいです。
そして将来、木皿泉記念館をつくって
「ようやく夢がかなって嬉しい！」
という気持ちを味わいたいと思います。
